Manchester City made it three wins out of three in Group G of the Champions League with a comfortable 5-0 home win over Copenhagen.
Erling Haaland continued his scoring form with two goals before the break but was denied his fourth hat-trick of the campaign by being substituted at half-time.
City boss Pep Guardiola admitted it was not planned to substitute Haaland, "But he has played a lot of minutes and with the game under control it was important to play Cole Palmer who is a top class player.
"I thought it better to rest him with Southampton coming up who we were not able to beat last season."
