Erling Haaland admits Manchester City teammate Phil Foden has surprised him.

Haaland joined City in the summer from Borussia Dortmund.

The Norway striker told ViaPlay: "I knew every player because I have been looking at City for as long as I can remember. But I didn't know that Phil Foden was so good.

"I knew he was good, but if you see him in training and how he dribbles, it is completely crazy to see."

City's World Cup winner Julian Alvarez is another to impress Haaland.

He said: "Álvarez has also surprised me a lot, because I hadn't seen him before. He is a great talent and you can see him in the World Cup now at the top together with Lionel Messi. So the level of training in City is so high and that's good."
