Pep Guardiola will take his Manchester City squad to Germany in July for his first game in charge of his new club.
According to the Daily Mail, City's first game under Guardiola will be a friendly against his old employer Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on July 20.
It was understood that the debut match of Guardiola's spell with City was to be against Jose Mourinho's Manchester United in Beijing on July 25 but a trip to Munich five days earlier is now on the cards.
City are expected to announce the fixture on Monday with Guardiola set to officially start work with the English club on July 1.
