Guardiola: It will be hard to replace Zabaleta at Man City

Man City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed that veteran full-back Paulo Zabaleta will be leaving the club in the summer.

The Spanish manager says that it will be hard for him to replace the experienced Argentine in his squad. The 32-year-old has made more than 300 appearances for City since joining City from Espanyol in 2008.

Guardiola said: "It will be difficult (to replace him).

"Pablo is a real legend in what he has done in this club. He helped us with his team-mates, with the club, to make a step forward, to try to qualify for the Champions League, to win the Premier League, to be in Europe three or four times in a row when it was never in Europe for 30 years.

"That's why Pablo Zabaleta is so, so important."
