Liverpool have signed a deal with French multinational insurance company AXA, with the firm becoming the club's first global insurance partner, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
As part of the multi-year agreement, AXA will work closely with the Premier League outfit's men's and women's teams, while also hosting a range of Liverpool-themed mass participation events worldwide, as well as offering fan experiences.
Billy Hogan, the club's managing director and chief commercial officer, said of the deal: "As a world leader in its industry, AXA shares our ambitions and values, which will provide the foundations for a special long-term relationship. Together we'll work towards bringing to life really special experiences for our fans around the world."
Thomas Buberl, AXA chief executive, added: "[This announcement] comes at a particularly exciting moment for AXA as the Best Global Brand Ranking, announced by Interbrand [Thursday], recognised AXA as the number one insurance brand for the 10th year in a row."
