Borussia Mönchengladbach centre-back Ko Itakura is interesting Tottenham.

Spurs are in the market for a new centre-half signing and Itakura is under consideration.

The Japan international was on the books of Manchester City, but never played for the Sky Blues due to work permit issues.

Sky Deutschland says Spurs are ready to bid for Itakura.

Itakura has a contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach until the summer of 2026.

He played 25 games for the German club during the past season.
