Girona coach Eusebio was delighted to beat Barcelona in the Supercopa de Catalunya.

Girona won 1-0 to stop Barca's march to a clean sweep of trophies this season.

Eusebio said afterwards: "It was attractive to play this final, it was a dream for our fans and players to win this trophy, it was something we had not experienced and we wanted to take advantage of it, our mentality was to play to win.

"We have competed in the line that we usually do, it was to see how we did against Barça, I am happy with how we have competed and having won."

There was a blow, however, with Douglas Luiz suffering an injury during the tie.
