Sebastian Giovinco has warned Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne over is proposed move to Toronto FC.
Off contract in June, Insigne is said to have agreed terms with Toronto.
Former Toronto striker Giovinco told Corriere dello Sport: "Have I heard? They ask me all the time. In fact, here they are really sure it is done. They are waiting for him in March. But it seems strange to me because he is the captain of Napoli and I don't think he will give up a team fighting for the Scudetto like that.
"If you ask me if Insigne is a good one idea, I tell you it depends on what you want. Personally, I felt comfortable on a human level and I found a city where life is easy. On a professional level you have to expect to disappear from the radar.
"I lost the national team, I lost visibility. If you are willing to give up on these things, it is an experience that I recommend to everyone."
