Gini Wijnaldum was delighted with the manner of Liverpool's win at Sheffield United.

He knows how important it is to pick up all the points when not playing well.

It is a characteristic of any title-winning side and ­Wijnaldum believes Liverpool have shown this season they have this quality.

“That's what we did," said Wijnaldum. “I think the progress we have made this season is that we're winning games we haven't played well in.

“Hopefully when we don't play well, we can still win games."
