Getafe are moving for Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena.

Alena isn't in the plans of Barca coach Ronald Koeman and been encouraged to find a new club ahead of the January market.

Having spent last season on-loan with Celta Vigo, they're still keen on taking Alena next month.

However, Mundo Deportivo says Getafe are also interested in Alena and willing to cough up a cash fee to sign him permanently.

Getafe already boast Alena's former Barca B teammate Marc Cucurella on the books.
