Genoa coach Cesare Prandelli has urged fans to be patient after their 1-1 draw with Sassuolo.
AC Milan signing Krzysztof Piatek has been replaced by Antonio Sanabria, who has now scored in each of his two games for the club.
“President (Enrico Preziosi) is a volcano of ideas and often it pays off to follow his instincts," Prandelli told Sky Sport Italia.
“We need a bit more time, as the transfer window only closed three days ago. We can all improve and together construct an identity for this team. It's an exciting situation and the lads are ready to work."
