Galatasaray signing Nicolo Zaniolo has said his farewell to Roma and their fans.

Zaniolo completed his move to Gala on Wednesday afternoon.

He posted to social media: "I came to you who welcomed me as if I were at home. You made me grow, you gave me a chance that I tried to take with all my heart, always honouring the history you represent, fighting for your colours, sweating for the shirt every time I wore it.

“This journey is made up of unique emotions that I will treasure forever, like that May 25 last year, that goal, that cup…. all ours.

"So much has been said, too much, but now that we've said goodbye, I want to say one thing to you… It was an honour. Eternally grateful."
