Galatasaray attacker Nicolo Zaniolo has hit out at former club Roma.
Zaniolo left Roma in February after a move to Bournemouth fell through despite the Giallorossi urging him to accept the switch.
He said, "Almost everyone in Rome disappointed me. I won't say names, but they said we were like brothers and then they didn't even greet me. We could talk hours and hours about broken promises.
"They told me that I was a spearhead, instead they always considered me just a surplus value."
Be dubbed a 'traitor' by fans, Zaniolo also said: "It's something I'm very sorry about. Roma gave me everything, thanks to Roma I won and I made my debut for the national team, my son was born there. Being labeled that way was a big blow.
"The truth will come out. I'm just saying that I've always trained, even if not with the others."
