Fulham are said to have agreed an £18 million fee for ex-Rangers star Calvin Bassey.

Per Sky Sports, the Cottagers are targeting a new signing at centre back for manager Marco Silva.

However, they will only sign one new player, while they also have interest in Southampton outcast Mohammed Salisu.

The source states that Salisu is the primary target and will be signed if a deal is possible.

If he is not attainable, then Fulham will secure Bassey instead, as he is the manager's second choice.

Bassey has been at Ajax since last summer, signing a five year contract to replace Lisandro Martinez at the time.
