Fulham's Jol feels Bolton form has been jolted by Muamba incident

Fulham boss Martin Jol suggests that Bolton's form has picked up in the last few weeks because the players have wanted to do it for Fabrice Muamba.

Since the 24-year old midfielder, who celebrates his birthday today, suffered cardiac arrest in an FA Cup match against Tottenham on March 17, the Trotters have won two vital Premier League fixtures and Jol puts it down to extra impetus from Owen Coyle's men.

"It has helped, especially in the first game as they wanted to do it for him," said Jol ahead of his side's trip to Bolton tomorrow.

"That gave them motivation and they got back to winning ways, which is a mentality as well.

"That is why I think they are probably better than before. You saw them get out of the bottom three or bottom four as they got points on the board."
