Fulham prove too strong for struggling Sheffield Utd

Fulham cruised to victory over Sheffield United on Saturday.

The Cottagers won 3-1 to leave the Blades winless so far this Premier League campaign.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid gave the Cottagers the lead before the Blades forced an own goal through Antonee Robinson to draw level.

However, Fulham were always in contract and Tom Cairney's mishit strike caught United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham flatfooted to hand the hosts the lead for a second time.

And then Willian wrapped up the points with a third goal in injury-time.

The result leaves the Blades at the foot of the table, while Fulham moved into 12th place on 11 points from eight games.
