Fulham have moved to secure Marcus Bettinelli to a new deal.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho made a personal check on the goalkeeper last week.

The Mirror says Fulham chiefs have started negotiations to tie down Bettinelli's long-term future at the club.

With doubts over Petr Cech's future, the Fulham academy graduate is being considered as a possible second-choice to Thibaut Courtois.
