Fulham make move for Birmingham keeper Butland

Fulham are launching a bid for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland.

The Daily Express says Manchester City, Liverpool and Everton all remain interested but the 19-year-old wants first-team football, which could play into the Cottagers' hands.

Birmingham want at least £6million and Blues manager Lee Clark said: "It would be a backwards step if he goes to a club and he is the No2. He is good enough to be a No1 without a shadow of a doubt."
