Fulham are launching a bid for Sevilla defender Gonzalo Montiel.

The Cottagers are in the market for a new fullback signing and Argentina World Cup winner Montiel is a target.

Sky Sports says Sevilla are listening to offers for Montiel this month.

Fulham are in contact with Sevilla, but will face competition from River Plate.

As a backup, Fulham are also eyeing Leicester City defender Timothy Castagne.
