Fulham boss Silva reveals star Muniz not 100%

Fulham boss Marco Silva admits Rodrigo Muniz is carrying an ankle injury.

The newly-capped Brazil striker hit a superb equaliser in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Sheffield United.

"He twisted his ankle during the international break," said Silva. “He had a bad injury. He was out of training for eight days. There was really bad swelling in that ankle. He did well to get fit again.

“Luckily, he is reacting well from the game. I had a chat with him yesterday. The feedback from the medical staff looks like he is probably going to be okay for the match. He's not 100 per cent.

“We are going to assess him again [on Monday]. He got that injury ten days before the match."

Fulham next go to Nottingham Forest in midweek.

Silva said: “We keep assessing the players from Saturday's match. We don't have anything serious from the last game. We are probably going to have all the players for the match."
