Fulham boss Martin Jol has played down talk of a move for Southampton midfielder Jack Cork.

Cork has been linked with the Cottagers this season.

"I have never mentioned Cork," Jol said.

"I didn't say anything about him but if you tell me that we were interested in him then I say nothing.

"I like the player but he is not playing, they have got Victor Wanyama for big money and a regular in Morgan Schneiderlin, so there is no room for him."
