Frenkie de Jong believes victory over Valencia was his best performance in a Barcelona shirt.

The Holland midfielder impressed for the 5-2 triumph.

"My teammates have helped me a lot since I arrived, I had to adapt to the new situation and the team. This is the best game I've ever done," said De Jong.

Sixteen year-old Ansu Fati was again on the scoresheet and De Jong declared the teen as "mentally strong".

"A player who shows this quality at Camp Nou shows that he has a lot self-confidence," he added. "I think he has a great future ahead."
