French pundit Pierre Menes has passed judgement on Arsenal defender William Saliba.

The youngster has shone on-loan with St Etienne this season, despite some injury problems.

Menes said on his personal video channel: “He is an interesting player, who has potential. Perhaps there is still a bit of experience missing. We saw it with the penalty he caused in the semi-final of the Coupe de France. He may lack a bit of speed but he is very young.

"He can obviously progress a lot. In any case, he has good positioning, a good reading of the game and, obviously, a physique that helps him a lot."
