French pundit Menes blasts PSG: Letting Thiago Silva join Chelsea monumental bull***t

PSG have again been blasted by local pundit Pierre Menes for allowing Thiago Silva to depart.

The 36 year-old Brazil defender has settled quickly at Chelsea in England - while PSG are having to count on midfield signing Danilo Pereira to fill in at the back this season. Thiago Silva again enjoyed a full 90 at Burnley on Saturday, helping the defence keep a clean sheet as the Blues won 3-0.

Menes is convinced PSG blundered allowing the veteran to leave. The long time pundit and former Reims development director highlights how Thiago Silva has been embraced by Chelsea and English football, while having been pushed out at PSG due to his age.

Menes blasted on Pierrot Face Cam via Le 10 Sport: "PSG committed this monumental bull***t of letting Thiago Silva go!

"Now ask the English what they think of Thiago Silva!

"It's a monumental error."

Over his eight years with the Parisians, Thiago Silva won seven Ligue 1 titles, was a five-time Coupe de France winner and a six-time Coupe de la Ligue winner.

The stopper joined Chelsea as a free agent after coming off contract at PSG following their Champions League final defeat to Bayern Munich.
