France U23 have released Malo Gusto back to Chelsea.
The fullback picked up a virus and has been cut loose by France Olympics coach Thierry Henry.
Gusto is now back in London recovering.
Replacing the fullback is likely to be a decision between Kiliann Sildillia of Freiburg and Bafodé Diakité of Lille.
