Scunthorpe United hero Jonathan Forte copped both barrels from Crystal Palace veteran Edgar Davids in Saturday's 3-0 win - and loved it!

Davids is not called The Pitbull for nothing - and wasted no time showing Scunthorpe hero Forte why.

Dutchman Davids, 37, made his Palace league debut - and two-goal ace Forte said: "He took me out after 10 minutes and told me where to go. I thought 'cheers pal'.

"Honestly he's a legend. I remember him on the Nike adverts doing tricks. When I heard he was 37 I thought I'd be able to run him but he's still quick."
