Harry Redknapp has been appointed Derby County's director of football for the remainder of the season.
The former West Ham United, Tottenham and QPR boss has stepped into the role following a meeting with Rams owner Mel Morris on Monday.
Redknapp will work closely with interim manager Darren Wassell in a bid to improve Derby's current standing in the Championship of fifth.
Derby, who sacked Paul Clement last month, are 13 points off leaders Burnley but are just six behind second-placed Middlesbrough ahead of the weekend's home clash with 14th-placed Nottingham Forest.
Of the appointment, Redknapp told the Daily Mail: "I'm looking forward to it.
"I like Mel and I like Darren, and it will be good to be involved again with a great club like Derby."
