Valencia have signed former Tottenham striker Helder Postiga from Real Zaragoza. The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Miroslav Djukic's side after completing a medical today.
The striker has been signed to fill the gap in the Valencia attack left by the departure of Roberto Soldado who has now joined Spurs for £26 million.
However, Postiga told reporters at his presentation: "I'm not here to replace anyone.
"Roberto was an important player for this team, just like many other players were, and I've come here to help the team and contribute as much as I can," he is quoted as saying by rtve.com.
