Andres Oper has signed with Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua on a six-month deal.
The 31-year old Estonian forward joins from Dutch club Roda JC where he has enjoyed almost four years.
The Estonia international is looking forward to the challenges of plying his trade in China.
"I have been collecting information about Shanghai Shenhua and the China Super League from the Internet," Oper, who scored 35 goals in 112 appearances for Estonia, told the club's official website.
"One of my friends also told me that the league is much harder than expectations.
"I am ready for the challenges as Shanghai Shenhua is one of the best clubs of China and we hope to achieve success this season."
