Former Everton midfielder Li Tie has been reportedly sentenced to life in prison in China.
Li Tie has been jailed after admitting to using bribery to secure the national team coaching post, says the Daily Mail. He was also involved in match-fixing.
He was coach of China between 2019 and 2021.
Li Tie made 33 appearances in the Everton shirt and was also on the books at Sheffield United.
