Forest release Loic Bade for Sevilla move

Nottingham Forest loanee Loic Bade is heading to Sevilla for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old has not managed the game time he was expecting after signing for the Premier League new boys in the summer from Rennes.

Given he is not a regular for Steve Cooper, Forest have allowed him to cancel the loan and secure another deal.

Per Fabrizio Romano, he is now in Spain to complete a medical and sign a contract.

Speaking about Bade's situation, Cooper previously stated, per Nottinghamshire Live: "We haven't got a bigger squad than normal in the Premier League, you can only name 25 in your squad anyway. So there is obviously going to be a line that some people don't quite get over, to get in the team.

"Loic hasn't featured yet. But he's training very well, he's settling in, his English is getting much better, he has a good attitude towards training and good self-belief. It's one of those things where you just have to work hard and wait for your time. When that is, that will be down to a number of factors.

"Loic isn't the only one who you could ask that question about. There's a story on loads of people at the moment, about them being in the team, out the team, not playing yet, continuing to play."
