Nottingham Forest new signing Matt Turner started in goal against his former club on Saturday.

Despite only leaving the Gunners for Forest a few days prior, he was thrust straight into the action.

Turner put in a solid display, despite his team losing at the Emirates Stadium 2-1.

He was asked about any advice he may have for pending Arsenal signing David Raya.

“Work hard, it's not going to be easy," Turner replied to football.london.

“No matter how well you train, make the most of your opportunities I guess but Aaron's a really great goalkeeper but I guess also the culture.

“You need to understand the culture of being at Arsenal. You need to be able to push but also support and I think that's something that I did really well. I was pushing but I was also there to support, not only Aaron but the best of the team."
