Flamengo vice president Marcos Braz has outlined the club's position on young talent Matheus Franca.
Newcastle United and Arsenal are said to have an interest in the 18-year-old.
However, Flamengo are in no mood to sell on the cheap, with reports of accepting a £14 million bid being laughed off.
“We do not put Matheus Franca up for sale. He is not for sale," Flamengo's vice president told Brazilian journalist Vene Casagrande, per HITC.
“We are not interested negotiating for Matheus Franca at this moment."
Interested clubs, which include Lyon and Real Madrid, may have to significantly raise the stakes to convince Flamengo to sell the midfielder.
