Joao Carlos Teixeira is set to join Fiorentina this summer according to reports.

Football Insider claims that talks between the Italian club and the player's representatives are at an advanced stage and it is likely he will leave Anfield on a free at the end of the season.

23-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder Teixeira has found regular game time hard to come by under Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp over the past few campaigns and reportedly wants more chances at senior level.

His contract with Liverpool is up at the end of June and Fiorentina are working hard to clinch a deal at the behest of manager and Teixeira's fellow Portuguese Paulo Sousa.
