Feyenoord loanee Yankubu Minteh admits he's yet to visit Newcastle United.
Minteh was signed by Newcastle over the summer before being loaned to Feyenoord.
He told AD: “I have never seen the city myself. The club immediately indicated that I would go to Feyenoord on loan. The club brought all kinds of people over to the Netherlands to ensure that my first weeks went well.
"For example, I often have contact with (loan manager) Shola Ameobi, he sometimes sends images and tells me what I can do better."
Minteh continued, “In that respect, my development is going nice and fast, because Feyenoord also works with images in that way. After every match I get to see what the areas for improvement are."
Asked about extending his stay into second season, he added: “I hear that there are people who hope that I will stay longer. But that's looking far ahead. It is clear that I like it here. I feel the appreciation of the trainers and supporters. And I feel that I am developing myself under this trainer. It happened quickly."
