Feyenoord coach Arne Slot has refused to discuss his interest in the Tottenham job.

While Julian Nagelsmann is regarded as favourite for the Spurs post, De Telegraaf says Slot is being seriously considered by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

Asked about the reports, Slot insisted: “A lot is said about that and all kinds of people think they know something, but I want today to be about Feyenoord and our match against Excelsior.

"The media should be about the match and no other thing."

Tellingly, however, Slot delivered his response with a cheeky smile.
