Evan Ferguson was happy for Brighton to reject an offer from Manchester United over the summer.

United made a £50m offer for Ferguson before their swoop for Atalanta centre-forward Rasmus Hojlund.

The Mirror says Ferguson was happy with Brighton's decision.

The Irish teen believes staying with Brighton would be better for him at this stage in his career.

Ferguson, 18, has scored four goals for the Seagulls so far this season.
