Turkish club Fenerbahce are hoping to sign Lazar Markovic from Liverpool.
According to Sky Sports, the 21-year-old Serbian winger is in talks with the Istanbul giants regarding a season-long loan.
Markovic arrived at Anfield from Benfica in a £20million deal last summer but failed to hit the heights expected of him in his first season with the Reds.
Three goals in all competitions was the end result for Markovic last term which has prompted Brendan Rodgers to ponder sending him away, but Liverpool will be wanting him back at the culmination of the 2015/16 campaign.
Fenerbahce, who are alongside Liverpool in the Europa League, are believed to be close to agreeing a 12-month deal with the 20-time Serbia international.
