FC Nordsjælland chief Jan Laursen admits they're delighted with the form of on-loan Brentford winger Mads Bistrup.

The Dane is on a straight loan with FCN.

Laursen told Bold: "It is too early to enter into those speculations. Right now we're just happy we got another season with him as it's been good for both parties. So we have to look at it at that time.

"We are crazy happy for Bidstrup, and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way. So it's a 'match made in Heaven' because we help each other well.

"He has been incredibly important to the team. It's great to see, because it can be difficult with such rental stays, whether the players fit in and whether they can be passionate about the club, the fans and the logo in the same way.

"You just have to say that it has been a fantastic match with Mads. We have also noticed this at Brentford, who have been happy about it. So Mads has and is insanely important.

"We have agreed to stay focused and get the most out of this season. If there are some who would like to win something this season, it is not least him who is important to us. He gives an insane amount."
