FC Dallas' Ferreira named MLS Player of the Week for Week 4

2010 MLS MVP David Ferreira was this week named the Player of the Week.

The 31-year old Colombian midfielder was back to his best for FC Dallas as they notched up their first win of the season in the 2010 MLS Cup replay against reigning champions Colorado Rapids who were previously undefeated.

Ferreira scored twice as Dallas won 3-0 at Pizza Hut Park to open up his account for the season as last season's runners-up took their season tally to four after three poor performances to kick off the season.

Ferreira joins a trio of players who scored braces to be nominated as the Player of the Week.
