The father of the Everton ballboy who had a confrontation with Jurgen Klopp has confirmed his son sought to wind up the Liverpool manager.
After Sunday's 0-0 draw, Klopp confronted a Toffees ballboy who appeared to have clapped him sarcastically.
Steve Callaghan confirmed his son Charlie had sarcastically clapped Klopp, quoting a tweet about the incident saying "He most certainly did. That's my boy".
He then continued to discuss the incident on social media before making his account private, stating it was "just a bit of banter between Charlie and Klopp at the end.
"No threats by Klopp or Charlie.
"All good natured - what the Derby is all about.
"Charlie just asked him what he thought about the World Cup final..."
