Ex-West Brom coach: Berahino can leave you frustrated

Former West Bromwich Albion coach Dean Kiely admits Saido Berahino can be his worst enemy.

Berahino has upset Baggies teammates by suggesting he sees the club as a stepping stone.

Kiely told talkSPORT: "I heard [Tottenham manager Mauricio] Pochettino talk about [Harry] Kane and in my time at the club, Alan Irvine, Steve Clark, Roy Hodgson all said Saido would progress into a very good player but it's all about learning and getting better.

"There is always the thing with young English strikers that they're not the finished article. They show that they could be in and around the England squad and set the Premier League alight for a long, long time.

"Certainly for Saido, there are little issues that you read about and you sort of sigh a little bit. Monday to Friday is about training and about getting better. Saturday and Sunday is game time so go and score the goals and that's the only way your stock value increases."
