Former Torino defender Giulio Falcone is happy for Matteo Darmian over his imminent move to Manchester United.

Falcone believes Darmian would find the offer "irresistible".

He told TMW: "The proposal is irresistible, Darmian goes to a great team and Toro takes money that will be reinvested.

"€15 million is the right figure.

"He will carve out his space. For me, he can play at a top club. I am rather surprised that he did not join an Italian side like Juventus, but perhaps none were able to do that."
