Former Real Madrid winger Savio has urged patience with Vinicius Junior.

Savio says it's too soon to start comparing the teen with the likes of Robinho.

He told AS: "I think it's too early to make an analysis, we cannot forget that he is an 18-year-old boy, he is very young, he has a lot ahead of him.

"It's too early to say if he should be a starter.

"I think that, with everything that is happening, the road is fine.

"It's too early to have a forecast of reaching a club like Real Madrid and being a starter at 18 years, it's a matter of time.

"I cannot see Vinicius as the new Robinho, I do not like to make comparisons in football, each one has his profile, style, his moment, his time. It's different stories, the history of Vinicius Junior at Real Madrid has everything to be rich, victorious, different from the history of Robinho, I cannot make comparisons."
