Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been urged to ignore unsettled PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe is being linked with a January exit at PSG after growing fed-up with the way he's been treated by management.
A new approach from Real Madrid has been mooted, but Víctor Sánchez del Amo, said: "Real Madrid does not need Mbappé.
"He is an impressive piece as a player, I do not doubt that.
"I think his arrival would dislodge many things that are very well placed right now. That is my criteria. Of course he has the quality to play in the Real Madrid or whatever team it is because of the footballer he is, but at this Real Madrid I don't see it as necessary."
Fellow former Real star Guti has also stated: "I prefer (Erling) Haaland to come before Mbappé.
"He should get into playing football and forget about the rest."
