Former Real Madrid GM Pedja Mijatovic says nothing Luka Modric does surprises him.

Modric was outstanding for Real Madrid's win at Celta Vigo yesterday.

Mijatovic told Cadena SER: "I'm not surprised. We're talking about a player who has been playing for a few years as if he were 25 years old, although he is of an important age.

"Age is not so important now, but the professionalism and dedication that Modric always does. He lives for the profession. He has played a fantastic game taking command of the midfield.

"(Carlo) Ancelotti connected very well with Modric in his first stage. He has a fantastic opinion of Luka and also endears himself for his behavior, professionalism and for everything he has been doing in terms of football and from the human side."
