Former Real Madrid sports director and striker Pedja Mijatovic says Luka Jovic should be sold.

Jovic, a summer arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt, has flopped in his first season in Madrid.

And for his part, Mijatovic has been left disappointed, telling El Larguero: "Personally, I would have liked to talk about him for scoring goals. He is young and has come here with a good profile after a good year at Eintracht.

"He has not caught the trick and we have not seen much, just some details that did not serve to say that he is a Real Madrid player. He himself seems not to be one hundred percent involved with the idea of succeeding at Real Madrid."

With talk of Arsenal being keen, Mijatovic was asked if he should be sold.

He added: "Of course, some solution has to be found. Maybe it's counterproductive that he's here like this."
