A return to the Premier League for Jean-Alain Boumsong is on.
The Daily Mail says ex-Newcastle United defender Boumsong, 32, is in talks over a Premier League return.
He has a year left at Panathinaikos but the Greek club will let him to leave for free.
The Frenchman spent a season on Tyneside between 2005-06, before joining Juventus and then Lyon. He has been in Greece since 2010.
