Watford star Callum Whelan looks set to leave the club.
The young midfielder, who played for the first team for the first time against Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup this term, is now without a contract.
He had arrived from Manchester United on a free transfer last summer.
The Watford Observer says he is not being offered new terms.
The 21-year-old was with the first team a great deal, but has now been told he can move on and find another club.
