Former Manchester City and Wales fitness coach Raymond Verheijen has accused Arsenal's fitness staff of shortening Robin van Persie's career. The Manchester United striker has only just returned to full fitness in recent weeks.
Verheijen tweeted:
RVP is only 31 yrs but more & more starts to look like an old man on pitch because of all damage done to his body during his Arsenal period.
